Quarterback | Ron Hefley, Northwest

Northwest quarterback Ron Hefley completed 20 of 27 passes for 317 yards and six touchdowns in a 44-21 win over Coahoma. 

   

All-Purpose | Philip Short, Holmes

Holmes quarterback Philip Short completed 25 of 50 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-6 win over Mississippi Delta.

     

Running Back | Jamari Thompson, Gulf Coast

Gulf Coast running back Jamari Thompson rushed 11 times for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 35-0 win over East Central. 

   

Wide Receiver | Ashton Nickelberry, Jones

Jones wide receiver Ashton Nickelberry had four receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns in Jones' 48-3 win over Southwest.

   

DEFENSE

Defensive Line | Willie Miller, Hinds

Hinds defensive lineman Willie Miller had a team-high five tackles with three tackles for loss in the Eagles' 34-7 win over Itawamba.

   

Linebacker | Hayden Hill, Gulf Coast

Gulf Coast linebacker Hayden Hill had eleven total tackles with a tackles for loss and also broke up a pass in a 35-0 win over East Central. 

   

Defensive Back | Jacoby McQuiller, Northeast

Northeast defensive back Jacoby McQuiller filled up the stat sheet with ten tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a half sack, two forced two fumbles, an interception and also a fumble recovery in a 31-21 win over East Mississippi.

   

SPECIAL TEAMS

Kicker | Ben Duncan, Hinds

Hinds placekicker and punter Ben Duncan accounted for ten points in the Eagles' 34-7 win over Itawamba. Duncan hit all four extra points and was 2-3 on field goals with a long of 43 yards. He also averaged 37.6 yards per punt and had three downed inside the 20-yard line.
